We come to Sf several times a year. We saw this in Zagat's but boy is it difficult to find even walking on foot! But yum...the Mediterranian Chicken is just fabulous. We even carried some home to Columbus. Someone told me they would never spend $24 on a pizza. They would here, gladly because it is worth every penny plus... more
Cudos to the deep dish pizza. It is thick full of delicious sauce. The crust is my favorite of any pizza I have tasted. It seems to be made of some kind of meal, but not cornmeal. Since we always order take out, I cannot comment on the other food, not the dining experience in the restaurant. more
but the do-it-yourself garlic bread rocks! Loved this place; we were there when it opened, and got the window seat for two. We had the small (plenty for two people) deep-dish pepperoni and artichoke heart, large salad and order of garlic bread. Stunning! more
This is THE place to go for pizza in SF, as far as I'm concerned. My husband and I consider ourselves pizza connoisseurs and when we go out for pizza, this is the place we go. Try it - you won't be sorry. more

It's hit or miss for me, sadly. Sometimes, the cornmeal crust is too dry. Sometimes, the tangy tomato is too much. Sometimes, it's the best thing ever. more
