This gets 5 stars because Loretta's accomplishes with success what it sets out to do. The place is about 8 feet wide, it can be hot in the summer, and there is only counter service. Loretta's has GREAT sandwiches with wonderful thick, homemade breads. It's only open for lunch and is always hustling. A local's favorite. Egg salad is just tremendous! more
Good food for price. Place is small with two seater tables. You can see everything going on in the "kitchen" area. I would eat there again. more

My husband and I ate here on the way out of town today. The sandwiches were delicious as was the chicken gumbo. If you are ever in town and want a fresh, delicious sandwich then you should try Lorettas. more
Great place to get a really fresh sandwich. Lots of vegetarian selctions (the cashew/olive is a darn good sandwich) and the best tuna melts & reubens. I found owner to be very freindly, as well as the rest of the staff. A real "locals" place to eat. more
