Returning to Boston just to take friends to L,Espalier. Such detail, and the staff are so friendly. Worth every penny and can not wait to return in July. more

Okay, so it's not cheap! Food and service at this level seldom is. My wife and I were blown away by the presentation and the service. The food was excellent and novel. We ate here for lunch and splurged on the 6 course meal. We were treated like royalty before, during, and after our lucnh. The location was nice, too. more

Just returned from a perfect dinner at l'Espalier. I could not disagree more with other reviewers about the new location in the Mandarin Oriental. I found the decor and the food far superior. My filet mignon melted in my mouth, no knife needed. Every course was exceptional. more

L'Espalier is a great place to have a good meal. Not utterly French per se, but it is a good influence. The new location is a bit more spacious and light, the older place had way more charm... Service is impeccable. more
