“Favorite Pizza in SD”

I grew up in Point Loma and frequently make it a point to gather the family around Venetian pizza when I'm back. Warning: It's so salty that only 2-3 slices will have you dying for water in the middle of the night but this is absolutely my favorite spot in San Diego for Pizza. more

This restaurant is a local favorite. It has a comfortable, laid back atmosphere. The food is a cross between American-Italian and California-Italian (in that it's not really traditional and its not really that heavy sauce stuff like you would get at Filippi's). The Venetian is a spot that locals take their friends to. The atmosphere, service and pricing is outstanding and the food is some of the best you can find. The Pizza is thick, juicy and cheezy, the Antipasto salad is good for four adults anytime and the kids portion of Spaghetti is HUGE. Great wine, food and atmoshpere.......what else can... more
