Not the best place for a fish taco in San Diego, but it is a great place to hang outside on the patio, have a large beer and enjoy what Tin Fish has to offer. They usually have a band playing outside before the games on their large patio area. It is a great spot to sit and people watch... more
This restaurant (more of a bar) is right across from the Omni, Hard Rock, and Petco Park; perfect location in the Gaslamp. It is a very "no frills" bar/restaurant with a great outdoor seating area. The restaurant is on the edge of the Gaslamp area and very close to Petco Park. It sits directly across from the metro rail station. The grilled halibut fish tacos were very good, especially with the tangy cabbage slaw added. The service was nothing but superb. more

Food was overpriced, but everything in the downtown/gaslamp area of san diego is overpriced. lots of happy families and pre-baseball game partiers. fun live music and lots of folks singing along, but it was possible to find a little corner of the outdoor-only eating area and people watch away from the music. i usually don't like these kind of places... more

This is an inexpensive, very quick service spot for lunch or dinner when you are attending a convention or going to a ball game. Perfect location and very well prepared food. more

We visisted the Tin Fish on a recommendation from our consierge Gordie at the Lowes Coronado Bay Resort. I LOVED THIS PLACE!!! The fish tacos are the best I had ever tasted. Every plate they offer that is fried, they also offer grilled. The grilled fish taco is my favorite.
