It's a nice local place to go for some really unique and tasty dishes. The salads and desserts are always delicious. It's a bit pricey, but every once in a while it's nice to enjoy a meal for us locals. more
I really like Bread & Cie. The food is always fresh and interesting. The desserts always look wonderful! The prices are high though. Salad with bread can easily be over $10 and they aren't real large salads. Parking is always a nightmare, but overall I like to go from time to time to enjoy something different. more

I recently had the opportunity to visit Bread & CIE. What a great place! It's sort of a cross between a cafeteria and a bakery. Bread and Cie has the best tuna sandwich I have ever had. No mayo, a little olive oil, walnuts and capers on a baquette with arugula and tomatoe - divine! I have tried to replicate at home and just can't get it right. Lucky for me they don't change the menu. more

I went to this place because of the reviews on TA and ended up liking it so much, went there again a day later. With mother and siblings all in the greater San Diego area, I always go to Bread & Cie. for either a fine sandwich or a breakfast of 3 different hunks of bread and butter and a cappucino.
