The dishes are delicious, the wine selection very good and the service exceptional. Next door is an art house movie theater. You can sit outside and watch the simple flow of people. This is one of my favorite restaurants in SD: dependably tasty, reasonably priced. Love the lamb shank, crispy salmon, coconut milk mussels, pork chop, and the bread pudding. Plus Joe is awesome. more

We ran across Kensington Grill as we were researching restaurants for our trip to San Diego - it was a very pleasant surprise! It's a very chic yet inviting restaurant. Our server was incredibly hospitable. Altogether the peach salad, scallops, pork chop, and creme brulee made for a wonderful meal! more
