I was passing and I thought I would pop in. Very glad that I did. The menu is HUGE and there is literally something for everyone - lots of pasta dishes, steaks, salads and everything in between. I opted for the dinner menu and had...Chicken Ouzo Soup, spaghetti with chicken, shrimp and mushroom and then rice pudding for dessert. The food was big in portion size and incredibly tasty.. it was also very quick to come to the table too. The service was superb and the staff really made me feel comfortable and ensured that I had everything I needed. Highly recommend.More
We visited several times on our holiday and loved this place. The food was always really good and the service was always brilliant, very friendly and made sure we had water and coffee, a great experience.
Good authentic food and nice people with good and quick Service. This diner offers good quality for acceptable pricings around times Square. We spent three evenigs there on our Trip to the big 🍎
Located right next to our hotel, warm and cozy little diner with the comfort food you’d expect. Sat immediately, ordered, received food. As NY as you’d expect. Some sticker shock to me as a Floridian, but portion sizes were large, service was good and food...was delicious. Even hid my crutches for me until after we ate. 😉More
This Diner is simply outstanding. The location, atmosphere, quality of food and service are first class. Thankfully, it’s even got better, they now serve gluten free bread - Well done. I had been asking for years if they could offer it on the menu. You...will not be disappointed, make sure to call. Try their Omelettes or blueberry pancakes (and maybe some maple syrup)!More
We loved Applejack! Tasty food, good service and a lovely little establishment. Attentive with the coffee refills too, which we loved! We liked Applejack so much, we visited 3 times during our 5 night stay.
Kind of a typical diner. The coffee is drinkable if you put enough creamer in it. The sausage was not very tasty. The Hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was barely warm. The potatoes were good and the French toast really good. The best part...was the friendly people working there!More
What you would expect of a typical New York City Deli, but with friendlier and quicker service. We had a matinee theater show to attend and after looking at several places decided to try this deli for brunch. We were glad we did, the service...was prompt and friendly, the food was OK, although the potatoes were a little stale, but the eggs were fine, the gyro sandwich was nice and big. The restaurant was clean. Overall it was good and the prices OK for NYC.More
Friendly staff but the food was below average. If you are in the US and can’t even get pork ribs right…. Overpowering sauce, the last few pieces I left it in the plate. Funny taste
Excellent pasta with generous sizes, hot and very tasty. The Pina Coladas and the happy hour is an added bonus. Staff are attentive and the manager Jimmy is amazing. If visiting NY this restaurant is a must.
They passed my test if ny diners eith very good coffee snd better than average corned beef hash. The eggs , potatoes and rye bread came as promised which can be hard to fin I. Mdnhsttdn mybdtsnfard fur curbed beef hash us high snd this...was better than average. Service pretty good with a higher price to pay as tge lication is excellent on broadway. Plesnty if oytdoor discs as well enclosed .More
Second time here and still overwhelmed by the great food we’ve had (pastas) as well as the cocktails. Jimmy looked after us like family and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening again. Very affordable, large servings and great drinks - what more could you want when...visiting NYC.More
Good place for lunch. I had the fish & chips, my wife and grandson split the fried chicken and fries. No complaints at all. We would suggest for all casual lunches
Diner food for sure. Had the eggs deluxe and wife had BLT. Portions were good. Service fast and polite. 35 dollars with tip good value and taste
