Small, lovely and a most memorable turkey dinner. Everything, just all of it, was delicious. Nice intimate setting which is, in my view, better for small tables then large groups.
What can I say but the blueberry pancakes are a MUST! Delicious food, great service and the ambiance was perfect. Highly recommend reservations (although my friend and I walked right in) and also a recommend sitting in the garden.
Still great after a few years. The food continues to be inventive yet somehow they manage to make it seem like it's been there all along. My duck was impeccable and the service was excellent. The garden room is still a real find in NYC!
This might be one of the most romantic restaurants I have ever been to - too bad I was on business. Excellent food (white truffle mac n cheese unbelievable for $120) - very good service, great neighborhood - you have to know where you are going. Will take my wife on our next trip to NYC.
We had dinner here with friends. The food was amazing. The restaurant was had a cool vibe, cozy decor and great atmosphere.
If you are looking for a special New York dining experience I would highly recommend The Waverly Inn. The food was excellent and the staff took great care of us. We sat in the covered outdoor patio room which was such a unique setting. Each room has it's own special vibe but I would try and sit in this section... More
Despite being seated in Siberia, we had a wonderful time. The tagliatella with wild boar sauce was excellent, as was the kale salad. Our duck was the best we have ever eaten in a restaurant. Our wine while pricey was a perfect fit for the food.
The location is outstanding, nestled in a residential area of the West Village. We were there for brunch on a Saturday. The Bloody Mary's were spicy and delicious with fresh grated horseradish. I had the homemade sausage, semolina (grits), egg, and baguette. Every bite was delicious, especially the sausage, m traveling companion had the eggs Benedict and was very disappointed.... More
This was a very unique restaurant in the West Village where the food was very good and the service exceptional. We sat at a booth that that had been occupied by Bono of U2 the evening before. The neighborhood itself is a very upscale area populated by pro-athletes and celebs and this restaurant is a local favorite for the jet... More
