Perfect spot to go with kids. Great kids menu. Good service. The homemade tomato sauce is for all ages!
I went here after spending some time in Central Park. It's a small, low key place. The service is absolutely terrible. I had to ask twice for the wine menu because the waiter got sidetracked talking to his friend. The pizza was decent but the mushrooms I ordered were horrible. It was 3 shriveled up mushrooms with melted cheese that... More
After walking for two hours through Central Park, we were starving. We walked over to Madison Avenue and just kept walking. We spotted Serafina.Fabulous Pizza just below 79th. We were escorted up to the third floor and encountered the most shapely gorgeous hostess. (OK I'm a senior but I'm not dead) However, it was the food that was most impressive.... More
We ate here one night and couldn't get over the meticulous prep and flavours of the food here - highly recommended!
This restaurant on Madison is within reasonable walking distance of the Met and is reasonable in price. The stairs up are a bit steep but the room at the top is light and airy. The service was friendly and quick. Our smoked salmon pizza was fresh and tasty. I think this is probably a favorite lunch spot for the locals.... More
Pizzas were good but pricey given what you'd pay in other parts of the city. Staff were indifferent. No refills on drinks, no checking back to see if we needed anything. Waiter told my British husband that Italian sausage is like pepperoni, resulting in our son being quite disappointed when the pizza arrived!
My son and I set out to try as many pizza restaurants as we could while in NY. We (literally) stumbled into this restaurant on a very rainy day. The margarita pizza (paid the extra for the "authentic" ingredients) was my vote for the best pizza we had the whole trip (and we had a lot!).
As you would expect in NYC, a thin crust pizza is over $15. The pizza was very good, I would not go excellent because the sauce was not to my liking - it was basic unseasoned tomato - which is classic - but not my favorite. Seating is - as usual in NYC - tight. Service - as not usual... More
Love this tiny local restaurant on Madison Ave! Delicious pizza and the homemade pastas are so good. Great atmosphere and welcoming staff make this a must each time we visit NYC! The pizza crust is perfectly cooked in the brick oven and the tuna appetizer is the best! If you want to try a pasta dish the homemade spinach ravioli... More
