A delicious Mexican extravaganza with tons of authentic decorations from the homeland. I sware to god there is something illegal to how they make their margaritas. Excellent. Would definitely eat there again, and would recommend. Not your ordinary mexican restaurant. More modern and creative take on Mexican food; different dishes. Good service, and friendly. No problems making reservations. Only complaint was that it was quite loud. Predominantly young crowd. more

I had read about Zarela's and decided to make a reservation for our first night's stay in NY since it was in walking distance from our hotel. The staff was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious. I had a chicken escabeche that was tasty and my husband had a chicken mole that was in his top 3 ever. more

Went here with 4 family members during thanksgiving week. Didnt make a reservation and waited 2 minutes for a table even though it was busy.
