This has to be worst place for not only Indian food, but any type of food. It is a shame on the name of restaurant. You are attracted to go there because some tour guide would tell you that this is the oldest Indian Restaurant in the city, since 1917, you will get tempted to try it, like we were.... more

I am rating this restaurant as poor because a lower rating is not available on this scale. Following is my detailed assessment of 'my experience'. Service: The waiters don't understand English or Hindi. When I asked him, "Whats good out here?", "I don't know", he responded. You will need an interpreter to make sense with the folks out there. We have been to many Indian restuarants throughout the country and believe that this is the best. Amazing Indian food close to Times Square. We had a great dinner and service. The restuarant setting is relaxing and a good escape from Times Square. If you love Indian food you must stop here. more
