We loved our Prime Rib, and the portions were huge. My wife had the Tostada Salad, and the other couple we were with had Pork Ribs and Beef Ribs that were out of this world. Sensible choice for family dining with a lot of variety on the menu and it is kid friendly . My french onion soup was decent but the prime rib was awful. I'm certain it wasn't prime rib (maybe a select grade?). It was chewy and tasteless. more

Yep, this was about right for a middle class family on holiday to Mammoth, California. Do go to Angel's if you don't want the poshest place in town, but if you like quiet then don't come here. However, the service is excellent and the staff and food are lovely. more

We'd read a favorable review of this place in a guidebook and so were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out to be as good as we'd expected. The biscuits are a nice alternative to bread and were tasty, but we weren't offered any more of them once ours were gone. The prices were a bit high... more
