Tacconelli's is the best pizza around the Philly area! Its nice to have a "real" pizzeria in Philadelphia so I dont have to constantly go to NY! It is so good that you have to reserve your dough in advance....and never order just one pie! BTW, my other 2 favorties are John's on Bleaker Street, NY and Pete-n-Elda's in NJ more
Make sure you call the morning (11am) of your visit to order your dough and reserve a seat. If there are more than two people make SURE you order dough for at least 2 pizzas. We, my wife and I, ordered one dough and we both wish we could have had a few more slices. The menu consists of pizza... more

Who knew that in the Port Richmond section of the city was the best pizza I have ever had in the city. Tacconelli's won best of Philly and Glen Macnow's (radio personality) Pizzapaloosa! You have to call in your dough at like 11am on the dot if you even want to think about stepping inside for an old world brick... more
