I wanted to come to Barclay Prime, because I really enjoy some of Steven Starr's other restaurants. I admit, I had high expectations. I was quite disappointed. The signature salad was very bland and was slathered with dressing. My filet, was cooked to the right temperature, but lacked any flavor. The creamed spinach, was runny and flavorless as well. The... more

Definitely one of the coolest restaurants. Steaks are excellent (as they should be). Interior rocks! A great place to splurge or celebrate. more

My hubby and I went here for a nice date night and we loved it. The place is amazing and the service is first class. We went back and forth over where to go and I am so glad we stuck with BP. It is very hip, classy , but not stuffy. I thought it was a little $$, but... more

I took my boyfriend to Barclay Prime last night to celebrate his birthday and a large tax refund. We went all out, we ordered coctails before dinner, the oysters, the kobe sliders, a bottle of wine to go with dinner, he had the porterhouse, and I had the bone in filet. This is an over-hyped, over-prices steak house. I started with the Kobe Sliders, which were actually very good and the highlight of the meal. The $50.00 steak that I got was not anything better than I could prepare myself. All the sides are ala carte, very expensive, and nothing to rave about. more

The has been the most overpriced restaurant that I have been to anywhere, including New York and London. For two of us our bill was over $400.00 excluding a bottle of wine. Although the food was acceptable I would not recommend this place more
