The martinis are great! Try the sweetheart martini and you cant go wrong. Also a great atmosphere and really nice for date night.
I was so happy to find this restaurant, which is sort of hidden in a plain brown building a block or two off of Route 66 in town..While the decor is sort of difficult to describe, the food and service were great! Being from California I was delighted to find a restaurant in New Mexico that had a list of... More
I would have probably missed this place if I had not been looking for it. The steak was delicious. It was a really good place to eat in an area without much choice. I would definitely eat here again.
My wife and I go though Grants at least 10 times a year and if we stay overnight we ALWAYS eat here. Used to look around and tried out lots of other places. But they are the best place in town. Great Prime Rib and most other things as well. Hot rolls, Salsa and chips the minute you sit down... More

Guacamole was strangely spicey and bland at same... More
The most amazing steak Kabobs I have ever eaten, bar none. I live in WV and if I went within 500 miles of the place I would be tempted to go back. My wife and our friends were all also very impressed with the meal, and the best service! Our waitress liked the place so much that she drove an... More
The ingredients are of poor quality, the atmosphere is dark and cramped, but the prices are pretty high. The food is just average or below. Just a bit of advise, Culinary School. Hey call the guy from the cooking show that saves restaurants to show you how things could be done to bring it back up to par.
We stayed in Grants, New Mexico for one night on our way to Disneyland. We looked at reviews and saw that La Ventana got pretty good reviews, so we decided to try it. We were really glad we did. We were a group of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids--all 4 yrs old.) The place was full, but we didn't... More
The food was ok, the service was excellent. I guess this is ok for a small town. Food is VERY spicey !
