My wife and I decided to go to breakfast here on a recent trip to JAX, as it was so highly recommended by people on TA. We loved it. I had a tuscan omlette and my wife had an amazing grilleed cheese. Both were amazing. Service was great too. Will definately go back next time I am in JAX. Well... more
This is a great place for locals and visitors to the Jacksonville area to meet and enjoy all the great diner meals you love with some amazing chalkboard specials. Mark the owner has a great place, with an amazingly strong friendly crew who work like an orchestra to make sure you relax, enjoy the food, and make a new friend.... more
Outside of San Marco and housed in what once was a small gas/general merchandise store, the Metro has been in business for apx 20 years. Only serving breakfast and lunch (they do have off-site catering) this unpretentious place serves hundreds daily. The line outside may seem daunting, but the rewards are great.
