This is the first time that I've been back to the restaurant since it changed ownership to the Hotel Elliott. A group of 6 of us who went in for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. Beautiful Dining! My wife and I were staying at the Hotel Elliott in May of 2008 and had the occasion to dine out for a nice Anniversary Dinner. It was across the street from our hotel. The Schooner was right accross the street from the Hotel Elliott. The menu was wonderful. The seafood plate I had was of 5-star quality.... more
On three occasions we have visited the Schooner/12th Street Bistro and have enjoyed every visit. We particularly favor the eatery before going to an event at the almost adjacent Liberty Theater as everyday from 4 to 6 pm the Schooner features small plates at half price with purchase of a drink.
