Each year, I attend a conference in Savannah and bring a small group (10-20) to the Pirate House for dinner. The groups have praised the food, the service, and the experience every year except one year when we were placed too close to a "business meeting" room and we were too loud - good food, good fun, but the business... more

What a Wonderful meal!.The place is well located with parking in the premises. The service was excellent, our waitress did a great job. We took a tour of the restaurant with the Pirate impersonator who knows enough history of the city to keep your interest for the length of the walk. The prices are not bad, 19-25$ plate which is... more

My wife and I loved this little place. The Catham Artillery Punch will make sure your a little tipsy by the time you leave and the pirate mug was nice. We had a Southern Fried Chicken Sandwhich that was there daily special and it was the best chicken sandwhich I have ever eaten. I was joking with my wife because... more

I have been to Savannah three times over the last seven years and I have always made a point to have dinner at the Pirate's House due to its place in history as well as my first experience there. The food and the service were excellent. This prompted a second visit two years later. I had raved about this place... more

A neat atmosphere that can be a bit spooky. The food is good and the service is decent. Just don't walk into unoccupied rooms alone...you'll get the funny feeling that all the pirates might not be gone. more

The Pirates House is an interesting piece of savannah history. You should visit but bring a brown bag lunch. If you are looking for good food there are a ton of options, but this is not a place to eat a great meal. It is fine for a cocktail and relaxing. I am in Nashville, I recommend that visitng friends... more

We went to The Pirate's House because we have a daughter who is obsessed with all things pirates, and expected the kind of food you get in places heavy on history/themes. The food was just terrific - so good, in fact, that we went back the next night and ordered the same dishes. The New York strip was of excellent... more

Extremely long, long wait for our food. Portion size was decent. Food was actually pretty good, but then again I was starving by the time I was served so that may have affected my judgment. Somewhat pricey relative to the overall quality of the food. The guy dressed in the pirate outfit was annoying and tried repeatedly to "hit on"... more

When I was a kid, I went here all the time. That was years ago, and it's a shame because I had such fond memories. I made reservations here for the first time in about 12+ years. Awful. We were seated next to the dish room (piled high with dishes and servers chit chatting), in a very small cramped hallway.... more

We had not eaten at this restaurant in over 30 years. The day we visited it was loaded with tourist and it seemed like the buses never stopped. It is an interesting place to vist but don't expect food out of this world. The day we were there they were serving a buffet which contained a very limited number of... more
