I love the Pirates house. I try to make a stop there each time I go to Savannah. Go during lunch and get the buffet. It's $13.95 with southern fare. They have fried chicken, mac and cheese, greens, veggies, etc. You get a basket of biscuts and corn muffins with REAL BUTTER!!!! My first time there was during dinner and... more

They have hit that sweet spot of great food, atmosphere, and service while being super family friendly at the same time. Never had a bad meal here and our kids always enjoy the trip as well. more

We were in Savannah for Thanksgiving, and decided to give Pirates' House a try in spite of the mixed reviews. We were extremely happy with everything about the restaurant. Being northerners, the southern cuisine was a real treat. We each took a small sample of just about everything on the buffet, almost every thing we tried was excellent. The services... more

Excellent service, tasty food, and amazing micro brews. There's also two underground tunnel entrances within the restaurant one can look into to get a taste of the history - pirates smuggling tunnels and/or underground railroad getaways plus a haunted restaurant. more

We went around 1330 on a Saturday and figured there wouldn't be a wait since the lunch rush would be over. We were wrong, there was a 30 minute wait so we wandered to the bar and ordered skull crushers. They were so good we got another one while we were eating lunch. Once we got settled we decided to... more

Me and my wife went looking for a great place to eat for lunch and ran into this restaurant. I was worried that the food would be touristy but was pleasantly surprised. I stuck with the buffet and my wife had the crab cake sandwich. I enjoyed mine and my wife really enjoyed her's. The atmosphere was great as well. more

First visited this place on the Creepy Crawly Pub Tour and figured we'd go back for dinner. Was seated immediately and service was pretty good. Food decent. Not great, nothing worth sending back or writing home about. Had a crab cake appetizer and salad for dinner. Salad had fantastic balsamic vinegarette. Husband had she-crab soup and a mixed fisherman's platter.... more

We had reservations and still had to wait for like 30 minutes. Then once we got seated it was like we had a certain amount of time we could be there. We were very rushed. The food left a lot to be desired. The service was terrible. The people were not friendly. Then we were never offered dessert. Just given... more

My husband and I ate lunch here while visiting Savannah. Our waiter, Elijah, was great. He told us ghost stories and showed us a picture he had taken of "ghosts" where we were actually sitting. He was an excellent waiter. The food, however, was not that great and it was difficult to eat in a room that felt as though... more
