Perhaps I ate at the wrong Vinnie Van Go-Go's. I find myself in Savannah about once a month for the past couple of years and have never eaten here before ,so I read the reviews and decided to try something new. We were placed on the "porch" on a very cold day and despite the heaters and being moved, it... more

We usually don't eat at small pizza places while on vacation, but we smelled this one as we were walking to Belford's across the street. It's a tiny little place with a ton of character. It's a small, narrow, worn building with low ceilings, but that just adds to the feel of it. You can order gigantic slices of pizza... more

Awesome pizza and the sausage was delicious...perfect amount of sauce and cheese and it's a cheap way to eat in Savannah! We got a large with Sausage, Peppers and Onions for 20 bucks (with tip delivered!) more

First off, how bad can pizza be? Not too bad. But when it's realllly good, it's amazing. This is NOT that place. Funky, hole-in-the-wall local joint that would be awesome IF the pizza was super yummy. And, it's not so cheap either (for what you get, I mean). But... Maybe cheap by tourist/historic district standards. I paid $6.75 for a... more

HATE the cash only...and they dont offer the "DUCK BUTTER" anymore (BOOOOO). Slices are huge and the ingredients are always fresh. Not exactly the NY pizza i was hoping for..but still good. more

The only down side to this restaurant is that there isn't one where I live. The service was incredible; everyone was very friendly. The food was the best I've had. I loved how customizable everything on the menu is. I was surprised at how cheap it was considering the quality. I would have paid much more for food that wonderful.... more

We got the white pizza with toppings, which is not the usual garlic pizza, but more of a ricotta/mozzarella base. The medium easily fed 2 adults and a small child, and was around 12 bucks. This is one of the better dinner options in the historic district. more

When I travel I hate to feel like a tourist. I like to feel like a local. Vinnie's is a local place. SCAD students go there so you know it's cost effective. They only take cash so prepare yourself. The pizza was great. We were seated outside so we had a great view of Franklin Square. more

I've been to Vinnie's several times, and it has never disappointed. Sometimes, you may have to wait 10 or 15 minutes, but the ladies always get you seated, and typically will find you a table based on where you want to be. The pizza is always good - never once have been disappointed. I typically get the enormous personal slice... more

If you like NY thin crust pizza, this place is a must. Jammed with happy customers from families to singles, Vinnie Van is a real price performer. Single slices are huge and not an after thought as in many pizza joints. more
