Great for lunch. Recommend Stuffed cabbage, Borscht, Reuben, any of the deli sandwiches esp Pastrami, Challah french toast. Latkes (potato pancakes are on the mealy side) and challah bread pudding was lackluster. Good service, fun, lively atmosphere. more

My husband and I have gone to zaftigs quite a few times now and we intend on going back for more. While it in no way compares to a real NY Jewish Deli, the food is tasty and most of the time is well prepared. Zaftigs fits in well with the Brookline neighborhood which consists of a robust Russian/Jewish population... more

Great restaurant! Friendly service, wonderful diner like food. I had an omelet with feta, tomatoes and spinach. Delicious. Also, not pricey and they serve breakfast well into the afternoon. WIll definitely return. more
