To let anyone know, having read that this place was a must in a guide book, that if you get there (and it is 3miles from the town centre) after 8pm it is closed! so we can't comment on the food only that this does seem a little early for a restaurant to shut. more

McClards is such a neat place to eat. I like the 50's style of the building itself. This little place is a bit off the beaten path. But it s worth the short drive b/c It is WONDERFUL! I've been to several other BBQ places in Hot Springs and this place is really the best of the best, a true classic. Try the tamales or BBQ sandwiches w/ cabbage...fantastic beyond words! more
