A bit over rated, Nola has good food, but not spectacular. The filet mignon with roasted garlic mashed potatoes was again, good. Since it is his specialty I tried the banana pudding layer cake-I could take it or leave it, no big deal. Over all it is good, basic good food-nice atmosphere-but not a must. more

We had the chef's tasting menu a few weeks ago and it was outstanding. First course was a salad topped with brisket. This alone would have made a great meal. Disappointing. Obsequious wait staff, average food, exhorbitant price. After interesting appetizers and an average salad, we got uninteresting and well below average main courses at exorbitant prices.
