Our hotel was near Herbsaint, so we stopped in. It was an abbreviated "bistro" menu, but that was enough. I had an amazing tomato-watermelon-crawfish gazpacho with a beautiful dry rose. An overcast summer day with thunder rumbling and that tiny meal was just perfect. Wish we could have tried dinner. more

Second visit. One of the best meals we've had anywhere. Spaghetti w/Guanciale & Egg, Kurabuta Pork, Fried Eggplant, Seared Shrimp. Everything wonderful in taste and presentation. I have been to many restaurant throughout the US and would put this place in the top 10. The Duck Confit w/dirty rice was excellent and the Coconut cream pie was the best I have ever had anywhere. I would fly back to NOLA just to eat here again. more
