ingredients are fresh, but the special rolls are bland. quantities are a bit smaller than other sushi restaurants. good but not a destination
This is my favorite location for sushi in Uptown New Orleans. The prices are reasonable and the sushi is consistently fresh and well-prepared.
Loved the food at Kyoto. It has a nice, friendly neighborhood vibe and not pretentious. The staff was friendly and the service was quite good. The sushi was really fresh and well prepared. We tried lots of items and they were all delicious. My personal favorites were the Poke salad and the Desiree roll.
Average food and takes a long time to get food! Workers look like they are kind of loss. I aske if they have Wifi and they say no!! Wow 2012 and no WIFI
We did sushi to take home to eat and it was awesome. The portions are generous and the makings could not be fresher (and i am very persnickity). I loved all of the various rolls we got and the sauces. This is THE sushi go to place in New Orleans. Thank you Kyoto.
We've lived in New Orleans and have tried every sushi spot in the city. This is our top choice and there are only distant second place spots.
