This visit to Mr. B's was just as good as my first 2 year earlier. This time we sat at the bar and ordered from the bar menu because we came at 4 pm and main dinning room was still closed. I had barbecued shrimp and the souce was out of this world, I thought that it was quite spicy... More

MaryKay was my server, and the service was excellent. They must get a discount on ice, as all the glasses at every table were filled to the brim with ice. But, she or someone else was there to fill it with water, a good thing as there were only a few swallows of water in the glass. The seafood gumbo... More

We went on the recommendation of this website. I can tell you neither my husband or I were disappointed! The Barbecue Shrimp was excellent, the service was wonderful. We would go back again for sure!

This place is very popular so make a reservation before going. The food is excellent, southern style, with lots of good seafood on the menu. We enjoyed our waiter who was so pleasant and had a great sense of humor.

This is our first night in N.O. (35th) anniversary. My wife is allergic to cayenne pepper. Our server (Renata) went above and beyond to find out what choices were available. Throughout the dinner she was exceptional. The food was absolutely the best. Seafood gumbo terrific. Shrimp with Tasso was perfect. For my wife the chicken with garlic and a wedge... More

We enjoyed an evening in Mr. B's while on holidays in NO. This place always seems packed so we said we'd try it one night. I had the lovely strawberry salad for starters and the scallops with veg risotto for mains, it was fab. This restaurant is across from Hotel Monteleone, I would recommend it.

Went here our first evening... wedge salad was limp and small. I think it must have been at most 1/8 or 1/16 of a wedge and not fresh (seemed liked it was cut hours ago). Two of us ordered the blackened Red Fish. Sorry... for $29 you should give enough redfish to leave someone satisfied. The piece was small. They... More

Clarence, our waiter, was right on the money when he recommended the scallops and the shrimp and grits. Both were out of this world. Also had the lamp chops and the swordfish and both were excellent. The sauces on their entrees are wonderful and enhance the dishes so well. Will definitely eat here again!

We tried several restaurants in New Orleans and while all were good this was far and above the BEST experience. The service was fantastic our waiter Georgio even helped us with some touring suggestions. The Chef's are very creative and showcase local favourites with culinary flair. This is a place not to be missed, we went on a recommendation from... More

My friend and I went to Mr. B's for dinner tonight based on recommendations from TripAdvisor and locals. It was as good as everyone said. We went simple, with seafood gumbo and the spinach and strawberry salad. Followed by coffee and bread pudding. The bread pudding was delicious. The service here was incredible. Len our waiter was outstanding and everyone... More
