I know that this is a chain restaurant, but we had a very good meal here. I had the grilled hebi food with spinach and mashed potatoes. It was excellent. There is oceanfront outside deck dining. Great food. Love the outdoor dining along the coast line. You may have to wait awhile to be seated but, well worth the wait. When we are in Kona we make a point to have dinner here. more

We ate at Bubba Gump's at night, and sat out on the back patio which was all lit up with lanterns. The ocean waves crashing in the background was the highlight. It was casual, but had a nice romantic touch to it. The food was awesome and at a very reasonable price. more

You can beat the on-the-water setting, and the tropical bar drinks aren't bad. Many visitors to The Big Island (island of Hawaii) still go here because it is convenient (right on Alii Drive) and the setting is so nice. You are truly on the water.
