I showed up solo and sat at the wine bar - I first notice how cozy and relaxed it was - the atmosphere was great. The wait staff (the girl at the bar) was superb - she was genuinely friendly, and was very informative on the wine selection and food selection. Their special that day was hare and salmon. Now... more

Crush has a tasting menu which gives you a chance to taste more than one wine for a reasonable price. The wait staff comes to your table and discusses the wines with you and answers questions. The food selection while somewhat limited was good and well prepared and presented. I recommend the Caprese!! more

I've been to Anchorage 3 times, on the last visit I found this cozy little bistro, Crush. I loved it, I even introduce family in town to it. They fell in love, and have now called it there favorite place to go. We went twice while in town for the week, could have gone every night! Prices were very reasonable.... more

We went with high expectations and were very disappointed. The place is way too small. It is also very yuppie-ish. The food is way overpriced for what you get. I guess if all you are interested in is hanging out and drinking some wine, it will do if you are already close or doing some shopping in the Downtown mall.... more

Even if you are just visiting Anchorage you will blend in with the "locals" and be treated as such at Crush. Very friendly staff and great food, also excellent coffee too. (I recently had their BLT, and I must admit to the best one I've ever eaten.) Be sure to take a "flight" and sample some wines from specific regions. more

The food was quite tasty, we shared several small plates and enjoyed them all. We each enjoyed different flights of wine served by the very knowledgeable owner. Don't forget to save room for dessert, the bread pudding is superb. more

Made a couple of visits to Crush during my last trip to Anchorage. Food was yummy AND because they do small plates you can sample several. Don't miss the Cambazola Croutons! Be sure to check the the dinner specials good value here too. The Copper River Salmon I tasted was super fresh (this is Alaska!) and prepared with a delicate... more
