One of the best indian resturants I have ever been to, alittle expensive but worth it. Great location and the decor is fun and engaging.
An Unique place for a visit with friends. We were adventerous to try some new and delicious foods made in Indian style, and enjoyed conversation in a quiet place without bustle and noise.
Seated fairly easy by a seemingly pleasant waitress, drinks were ordered and dispatched fairly quickly. I have been to a few Indian restaurants in my time and nothing on the menu jumped out at me so i requested a dish that they didn't have. The waitress went to the kitchen to ask the chefs if they could cook it -... More
Had dinner there last night, ordered a pre-dinner drink (one of their "speak easy" drinks"), which was decent but way overpriced. Ordered mixed tandoori, took forever to get to the table (about 30 minutes), meat was super dry, rice was bland, entire meal was cold. I ordered a side of sauce to make the meat edible, waitress clearly forgot, and... More
My family and I enjoy several small plates..which was the perfect amount of food...it was all filled with tons of flavors. We loved the craft cocktails..we rarely get to drink, so this was a real treat!
I have been dining here at the Indian Oven for over fifteen years, and always had a great experience. I/O is definitely an Old Mkt. institution. Reading some of the previous recent reviews gave me pause. So on Friday night June 28, girlfriend and I got a table. The Old Mkt. area was packed and it was a beautiful evening.... More
The food being priced at par with Johnny Walker Black - wow, that is some pricing. Well, the fact that full menu variety wasn't available at 8p is in itself a disappointment, and to get bhatura soaked in oil, however hot and fresh off the frying pan it was, sounds troubling enough. The serving was definitely named after Indian stuff,... More
Food was terrible and inauthentic. Passes for ethnic Indian food and full of False Advertising on the Internet. Cook had no clue as to what he or she was cooking and the waiters & waitresses had no clue either. Most of what I tried to order was out of stock and what there was did not resemble proper Indian food.... More
No wonder your restaurant was slow for dinner as others were packed. Your service and your food were a 1 (that is on a skale of 1-10 with 10 being great). The hostess that seated us on the patio didn't bother to wipe of the table. The server (Evan) 1st approached the table with his hands on his hips not... More
I recently dined here with coworkers and we had a great time. The Lamb Vindaloo was great and spiced just right. The appetizers were really good as well. If you get there for happy hours prices it is even better as many of the drinks and appetizers are cheaper. The place is located in the Market District and is surrounded... More
