“Casual & Really Good”

Our family "Griswold" driving vacation this summer included a stop in Springfield for the Lincoln Museum & Library. Based on the reviews on this site, I selected Gabatoni's as a place where we would enjoy the atmosphere, would be kid-friendly, and have good food... we were not disappointed! We sampled the pizza, lasagne, ravioli and horseshoe meals... all were fabulous!... more

Gabby's is the best pizza anywhere! The restaurant itself is a bit of a dive. Still, no thin crust pizza beats these guys. This place is a landmark for the city of Springfield. Just read its history and you'll see for yourself. Very few places have lasted this long. There is still a line to get in the door many... more
