Fabulous lemon Caesar chicken salad! Wonderful gluten free options. We enjoyed dinner so much that we returned the next night.
We never miss an opportunity to eat at Urban Farmhouse when we visit Richmond. The menu makes you feel healthy just looking at it! The freshness of the food is apparent and the pairings are delicious. The atmosphere is organic college tree hugger rather than fine dining, which is fun! We love it and highly recommend it.
whilst on holiday in Richmond we came upon the Urban Farmhouse. What a find. Great breakfast and lunch combinations available at very good prices. Free Wifi and papers. Nice atmosphere and lots of goodies for sale.
A group of us stopped in for lunch while touring Richmond after a wedding. The restaurant is very historic looking, with high ceilings, large windows and brick walls. If you have a car, park around the corner in the underground garage. The food was good (though not great., With enormous windows and locally sourced food it reminded me of my... More
If you happen to be in the area first thing in the morning, come to the place. It's full of character, the food is all fresh and tasty - I had a bowl of porridge with fresh fruit. It was very tasty. It made my day on a cold morning.
Fresh food w/ local emphasis, down-to-earth, comfy and a coffee shop feel to it. All this, a sunny disposition and friendly staff made our intro to Richmond and it's historic Schockoe District a positive one. The grilled/pressed breakfast egg sandwiches on nine-grain bread with VA bacon and havarti were perfectly crispy and not über-greasy (for those on the health-conscious side).... More
Great little place which does excellent breakfast and lunch combos. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable and the food much better than going to eat in a fast food chain or hotel.
Sitting in a prime real estate corner of historic downtown Richmond, this locally owned cafe restaurant is my go-to place when I want a tasty meal or a not-too-guilty treat. The Q Blu chicken sandwich is my favorite, and their gluten-free selection from anna B's is yummy. They make a great milkshake for when I feel like an extra special... More
A friend and I decided to go to downtown Richmond for lunch for a change of venue. We both enjoy fresh, healthy food. This place was teeming with the trendy set and young folks. I ordered the tuna sandwich and my friend, the walnut pear salad. First of all, the price was outrageous--$10 for a small sandwich? My friend winced... More
