Edo's Squid is a little hole in the wall near VCU and the fan in RIchmond. You will never have a bad meal there. Dont' expect warm and fuzzy service but the food can't be beat - especially for the price. Sure there are restaurants in Richmond that are fancier but if you want solid pasta I highly recommend it.... more

Yes, it is noisy. Yes, the service unpredictable. Yes, its crowded. But the bottom line is Ed serves the best Italian in the city. In 7+ years of going to Edo's I have NEVER had subpar food. Edo's Squid is all about the food. The menu is written on a chalkboard on the wall, the place is one big room and noisy, and if the room gets full there's no good place to wait (so make a reservation).
