We went here based on a comment from Anthony Bourdain. It did not disappoint. The rib meat could be sucked directly off the bone. The Rum beans were great and everything was sticky and messy, just as it should be. I'm from Texas, and so far, this place beats everything in Tx. Greatly Recommended. more

GREAT bbq! This place has been here awhile and you can tell but there's live blues nightly and there are VERY few places that serve bbq as good as this. more

If your idea of great BBQ sauce has molasses as the main flavor ingredient, then this place is for you. The beans, sandwiches, and ribs are very very sweet. But if you want to sit outside, drink a beer and listen to some pretty decent blues, then go to Fat Matt's. Just think of the food as something to absorb... more
