I eat here often enjoying the casual vibe and healthy food. I especially enjoy their Weekend 11:30 opening where I get soup and a scone. Beer, of course. They have lots os seating options.

Good music. Great apps - Japanese cucumbers and fries. Yummy, fresh beers. Worth a stop in. Staff was welcoming and friendly.
Five of us for brunch. We had beers and several unique items from their limited, but very unusual menu selections. We started with shared onion/vinegar fries. Tiny pieces of potato (obviously the end of the batch), mushy and not particularly flavorful. Three of us shared...three of this small gastropub's brunch items (broccoli Romanesco, spaghetti squash, and hop along...none of which stood out as truly interesting). The baked omelette got high marks, but the bacon cheeseburger (offered as medium-rare) arrived well-done, on a squishy bun, and relatively flavor-free. At these prices ($142 for five), we all expected better.More
Fabulous restaurant, not to be missed. Started out as a small craft brewery run by young entrepreneurial people. It grew into a small restaurant with great food, both small plates to nibble on with a glass of wine or a craft beer, and regular size...entrees that can be shared. Nice decor and athmosphere, excellent wine list and of course a great choice of craft beer. Prices are good considering the choices and quantities.More
Discovered this place via Trip Advisor. Thank you. Had 3 awesome beers...a Kolsch, a Golden (English Pale Ale on Nitro) and a Westfalia. All by Four Point in San Francisco. We had the goat cheese with toast, grapes, and honey. We also shared a dish...of farro with spinach, mushrooms, pine nuts and cheese. So...so good.More
Apart from a great variety of House-brewed artisanal beers, the place is not particularly cosy or comfortable. I don’t like sitting at a communal table but some people might find it just fine. Not all tables are communal. The food is trendy but not light....The service is okay.More
My husband and I had dinner and a beer tasting at beer works and we thought most of the beers we tried were pretty good. I really liked the Animal beer and my husband liked the Resonance. As for the food, the steak was really...good and the bacon cheeseburger was ok but nothing special. Overall we had a really good experience.More
Food is good, maybe a little over-priced even for Mill Valley, bit their beers are essentially all the same with only slight variations. If you've never been to a good brew pub you might be OK with this light weight lift of a brew pub,...otherwise don't bother with this place.More
We enjoyed a relaxing Saturday night dinner at Beer Works. Its modern, slightly industrial fit out creates the perfect atmosphere for its foodie style pub food. Both of our starters were delicious! The charred broccoli was awesome. My partner loved the confit duck main while...I couldn't fault my lightly smoked halibut main. The homebaked bread was also a highlight as were our craft beers. Surprisingly only filter coffee is available. We thought this was a rather cheap and nasty option for a venue of this calibre. However the service was consistently friendly and attentive without ever becoming intrusive. We thought the entire dining experience was genuine value for money. and wouldn't hesitate to return again.More
The beer was memorable. Years ago I had a very tasty rye IPA. That beer was no longer on the menu but the “Animal” was almost as good. Hoppy but well balanced with malt. Dinner ranged from adequate to delicious. High points were the roast...carrots and the pasta with pork belly. The burger was OK but not exceptional. Service was attentive and helpful.More
Nice restaurant with great choice of beer - most of it self brewed. Food is great from soups to burgers, salads to deserts. A must visit in Mill valley. Relaxed atmosphere.
Love this place! Great beer, good eats and lots of locals at this fun loving Beer House. MV Beer Works has not been open long so it is a modern venue/decor restaurant. Mill Valley Beer Works is just steps away from the Mill Valley Inn.
A group of four of us stopped in based on a recommendation from a local. We were not disappointed. The place was easy to get to and has a low-key vibe. I had their Delicata Squash with medjool date butter and pine nuts and Avocado...Toast and both were fantastic, also tried the walnuts - very simple but super tasty, warm and salty. I have since tried to recreate the squash dish and have failed miserably. They also offered a "breakfast beer," kölsch and grapefruit, and that went over really well. The food was a touch pricey for the portions, but worth it overall. Can't wait to go back.More
Whether for a quick drink or dinner with friends, this place is s really gem, somewhat hidden on the outskirts of downtown Mill Valley, down the road from Old Mill Park. The Brussels sprouts are fabulous as are the salads and main courses, all large...enough to share or take home for later.More
Not easy to see from the street but very nice inside. Good size room with lots of hard surfaces and high volumes. Nice people and attentive service. Try the house beers as they are interesting and Park was excellent. Trout chowder and burger were very...good.More
