Outstanding food and service. Always predictable as well as comfortable menu and ambiance. We enjoy stopping in for lunch and dinner.
Order the veal & pork meatball dish if you are really hungry but ask for double sauce. The meat ball is as big as a softball. Fish was excellent and all pastas dishes were very good. We had an excellent waitress who was on top of everything and was very friendly.
Had a special business dinner here and even though we got rained out of the patio, we enjoyed our evening indoors. The pasta of the day was spinach fettuccine which was wonderful. The tomato soup was perfectly seasoned and full of flavour. We shared their made to order rosemary flat bread with baked goat cheese and we devoured it. We... More
Cute and quant. Wonderful meatballs and pasta. Service was excellent and very friendly. The food was fresh and flavorful. I was only visiting but if ever in the area again I will definitely stop by.
Don't complain about undercooked chicken bc the manager doesn't have the maturity to receive complaints. Trio has always had an attitude problem with their arrogant servers and management. The thing is, there are so many other comparable restaurants in the same league and geography like Niche and Pago that put Trio to shame. My recommendation is to skip Trio and... More
Eating here was a joy. It is great for a date night. I highly recommend the baked pene dish. I only had a few bites and totally had order envy. My salmon salad was awesome though. I was with a party of six and none of had any complaints. The service was great. If I could change one thing: it... More
I visit Trio's whenever I go to SLC because everything is farm to market fresh. A little off the beaten path, I like to sit outside and watch the eclectic locals who frequent the place. The salads are incredible, as are the vegetables.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Salt Lake. We love everything about it. The minute you walk in the door, you feel like you're in a cocoon. Don't miss the flatbreads and the ravioli with butternut squash always delivers. Deelish!
We went in thinking we might be turned away (almost 9pm), but weren't. In fact we had a great meal of lighter menu options with wine, a beer, and desert. We were in and out without feeling rushed. The food was great as the usual trio service and food is.
Visiting my son and telling him to pick any restaurant for lunch we ended up here. Dinner sized portions for lunch were a bit much, but the two different pasta dishes that we tried were superb. Service excelent. Bright, open feel to the dining room even though we were in a booth. This is a repeater for us.
