We made reservations for 6 using opentable.com. When we arrived (on time) they seemed to not even know we had reservations and I felt *lucky* they could seat us 10 minutes later. We enjoy fine dining and have done so for years, all over the country. While staying at the Omni Bayfront in Corpus Christi we asked our hotel staff for a recommendation to the best restaurant in town...they gave us a few and we selected Katz 21 for our first night in town. I love Katz's. If you are looking for a really nice dining experience this is the sort of place to go. It is not on the Bayfront but it is close. It's just a nice place with a good bar and excellent steaks. Finally Corpus Christi has a true fine dining establishment. more
Tender, juicy, delicious steaks and wonderful wines. Truly a first class place. Bar has live jazz music and low key feel, and restaurant is masculine with dark wood and elegance. This is a great "high-end" steak house, with the white table cloths and dark wood paneling that you would expect. The prices are also what you'd expect.
