My girlfriend and I wanted to have a total night out in the city. We heard that Aspire was the place to be in the city especially on friday night. We were not disappointed. We had an unbelievable dinner. The decor was in one word, sexy. The food was delicious and the wait staff was very knowledgeable about the wine... more

I travel regularly and therefore dine at restauraunts quite often. The food at Aspire is as good as it gets. I highly recomend the Caesar salad and the salmon roulade. The fish was so fresh and cooked to perfection. For dessert, my waiter cooked bananas foster at my table. It was a great eaperience! more

This is such a nice looking hotel and restaurant, but that's all the restaurant has to offer. Let me being, I was at dinner for a theme night in the park I sat down and waited for 25 mins before someone would help me. I know the GM sitting at table and not even helping out just let me sat... more

Yes you read right! / 40 minutes for our overcooked steak, 25 minutes to get... more

I am moved to submit a review by the most recent one, which I happened to notice, which rated the dining experience for dinner quite poorly. (I am not especially surprised about someone having a mediocre breakfast, but in my book breakfasts cannot be mentioned in the same general review as dinners.) Anyway, six of us ate at Aspire for... more

I stayed at the lovely Hotel Providence the weekend of June 19-21. What a treat! But what a disappointment in the hotel's restaurant Aspire. Nice setting, the food was o.k. but the service was the worst in memory. Breakfast on Saturday provided no half and half for coffee. I asked they get it from the bar but they wouldn't. Dinner... more

First I must say that the city of Providence has come a long way from the days of cold dim lit streets and a run down look. We stayed at the Hotel Providence and dined in there restaurant Aspire about five times in the past year. This time our experience was dreadful on two occasions. Our first came with breakfast,... more

Be aware you will get a limited menu. We were not told this, it is not anywhere on the web, and we were handed the full menu for "drink choices only" but not told that up front. It was such a tease, as the full menu is so superior that we left and went to another restaurant. The atmosphere was... more

After touring RISD with our daughter, we were hungry and wondering what Providence the city was all about, and there it was ... Aspire at The Hotel Providence! The aesthetic immediately appealed to us -- Providence is cool! The menu appealed to us too. The service was excellent. The food was wonderful. Luxurious space around the table. A very sophisticated... more
