While traveling with co-workers, we ended up at North after we spotted the heavenly outside seating. Our server, Michelle, was wonderful. Very friendly and always with a smile. Sitting outside in the plush cushions of the couches, watching the sun set, and sipping a Tartini...it doesn't get any better than that. We order one of the amazing pizzas, and we... more
It was loud, but the service is great and the food is delicious. I will be back. more
We celebrated our son's birthday at this restaurant this evening and it was a wonderful evening all around. We were given requested seating at the curving window wall that makes up the south face of the restaurant. The food wasn't very good, especially for the price. The sauce was bland. Good atmosphere more

Very simple, fresh and delightful italian anitpasti. I had... more

Our server started off poorly, suggesting free sample of wine and never brought it. When we asked her she replied "well, you have to buy a drink first." Off to a great start...then,... more
A pile of lettuce on top of thin pizza crust, with a smear of tomato sauce, a few shaved pieces of asiago cheese and a couple scattered onions = impossible to eat and not that good. My "pizza" was really a salad (and a poorly embellished one, at that) on bread. My fiance's meal was mediocre. Spend your hard-earned cash... more
We went to Tucson for some motorcycle day trips and I was surprised to find that Tucson cuisine has come a long way, and there is no better example than North, in the foothill area. North gets its name from the food, which is based upon cooking of Northern Italy. Many of the menu items take advantage of the local... more
