Based on reviews, we had dinner one evening and were very satisfied. Nice sized portions, and the food was very flavorful. The only gripe is that since it's a small place, all the tables are close to each other - so conversation can be a little hard if it's crowded. more

The food was authentic Indian. The quantity of food was fair. If you have to have Indian, would recommend it rather than traveling out of the area. The only complaint was that the food is rather salty. more

We always enjoy a good inexpensive meal at this restaurant. The service is exceptional and the owner came over to talk with our party last time we were there. There are a lot of vegetarian options on their menu as well as a great selection from the bar. more

I live near enough to Passage to India that my family does take-out from here about once every two weeks. I've eaten in the restaurant on three occassions as well. The Salem location is one of five in this Boston area chain. The menu is pretty standard fare for indian food. The good news is they execute better than most.... more
