My husband and I did not make reservations and they accommodated us on the spot. The hostess was incredibly nice and seated us right away. Our waiter was also very nice and quite helpful. The food was delicious--great meat however we both felt it was way overpriced. It's a fun cozy place with good food but you definitely pay for... more

This place is not to be missed!! If you can, get a seat at the community table and be prepared to meet some fascinating people. I had the Huevos Rancheros Christmas-style and it was fabulous! Great amosphere with locals and out-of-towners as well. Well worth the wait if the place is packed. more

We decided to go Pasqual's last night for dinner. What a disappointment! My wife ordered the Pig & Fig, bacon wrapped figs ($14). She got one partially wrapped fig and another piece of bacon. We told the server, who simply smiled and took the plate. I ordered Neiman Ranch Tacos Barbacoa, a iittle shredded beef on soft tacos with no... more

Like in all big cities, if you want brunch, you must wait. Get on the list, and then go window shopping for a while - it's busy because it's great! On the inside colorful glass flowers, banners and furniture are placed all around. It's tight, and they even have a "Community Table" that has about 15 seats around it. If... more

We were very disappointed with the meals we ordered, looking around the restaurant to see what other diners had chosen its possible we chose the worst dishes on the menu - a heart of romaine salad with pecans and beets and wild alaskan king salmon. The salad arrived and was several leaves of romain with blue cheese dressing, about 4... more

I went here for breakfast and, based on the other reviews, I was really looking forward to "breakfast burrito heaven". $14 is way too much for a breakfast burrito, no matter how good, and this wasn't that good. Certainly not heavenly. There are at least three restaurants in Taos, NM, that make a better breakfast burrito for under $7. This... more

The lowly breakfast burrito is often an image of what's served in some fast food chains. Not so at Cafe Pasqual's, where I had the finest I'd ever tasted. Eggs, chorizo, potatoes, and herbs wrapped in a semi-crisp homemade tortilla. They'll serve the burrito with all three of their basic sauces -- a deep red sauce, a mild green chili... more

Went to SF NM for a girls weekend. I got lucky and picked Cafe Pasqual's for our breakfast the first day - and we loved it so much that we ended going back every day of the trip. The breakfast menu has everything from savory to sweet, simple to elaborate, and several of the classics have an organic and/or southwest... more

The place was pretty good, but far below the hype. Our party of 4 had consistently mediocre food. Chiles in nogada was OK but not great, the pork chop in guajillo chile sause tasted like it had a cheap BBQ sauce instead, and the lamb chops were overcooked. The wine and desserts were outstanding, however. Everyone in our group loves... more
