My husband and I had a late dinner here on a Sunday night. Arrived about 9:30. Sat in a high-backed booth across from the bar. Service was prompt and the food and beer were both very good. Busker's a pretty cute pub with a decent beer selection, good service, good food, and good atmosphere. It's also generally less crowded than some of the other bars in Newport, which is certainly a plus. It's your typical Irish pub. more

Looking for a small private room to celebrate a special occasion in the middle of busy Thames Street. This authentic Irish pub has a graet upstairs room that can accommodate 15-30 people. Stopped in here for lunch one day. Had the grilled chicken sandwich with ham and cheese. Not bad. Wasn't too crazy about the Busker's fries (steak fries) but I'm sure other people like them. Liked the Irish stuff on the walls and the picture of Dublin by the bathrooms. more

It is a really good restaurant to have a drink or have dinner or to both the price is not bad. The food really good and so are the staff. more
