If you like barbecue, this is the best in the area.The brisket and pulled pork were juicy and there is a great selection of local draft beers. more
My second trip to New England and I finally got to see Newport. It was a gorgeous day and we had walked by this place three times, and were debating on what to eat for dinner. We finally decided to stop here because the smells were so enticing, and aside from the fabulous prices, the food and beer were perfect!... more
We ordered the BBQ Sampler, had a couple drinks...all very good. waitress friendly, nice atmospher. more
We just went there recently and the food was good. My husband had a blackened fish sandwich which he raved about...plus, the coleslaw was delicious. I had a salad but can't wait to go back and try the bbq! more

We visited this very casual restaurant during the Spring Boat Show on Sat., 6/16/07. We both ordered the "Hog Pen" sandwich for take-out, which consisted of pulled pork, cole slaw or fries, and baked beans. The price was $9.50 each, and for Newport, this is a steal!
