everyone i know raves about this place. However i was a little disappointed. Atmosphere was cool but food was only par. i thought it was expensive for the type of restaurant it is.
Have posted before for Brick Alley Pub about their lobster bisque. It is the best my husband and I have had. It is not thin and liquid but has a body of lobster pieces/puree in it that is delicious. It has not changed over the years, it's a MUST HAVE! Also we loved their whiskey sours and Portuguese Little Necks.

Seriously the best Lobster Bisque evah! We had it three times during our week in Newport. The salads were great, very fresh! My boyfriend said his burger was on his top ten list, and he is in his 50's! Great place to eat while in Newport. Worth the drive......
Essence of New England pub style, food, price, menu, service, ambience all there, desserts to die for, nice beer selections, recommended!
This is a great place to eat in Newport. The food is good, the service is great, and the atmosphere is nice. They have a good variety of choices so this was a perfect pick for our group of 5 since everyone was able to find something they liked.
My husband and I love this place. They make the hottest wings I have ever had and they are delicious! My husband loves the lobster rueben. We usually sit at the bar and the staff is funny and friendly. Every once in a while I will drive the hour just for the fix. :)

First of all, the place was packed but we got seated right away. Kelsey, our waitress was fantastic! Very patient, recommended a fantastic meal for me! The food was amazing and plentiful! I had to have half of it wrapped to bring home! I would recommend to anyone in the Newport area!!!!!
