Not the cleanest place. Been there 3-4 times, always an odor. Sometimes food all over the floor from many kids and some adults. Sort of third world. . . .but cheap $
Checked into the Best Western on Nimitz near the sirport. No car, so just walked. I don't recommend being ourt past dark in this area. Seen a rat run across the entrance to the kitchen. Im not kidding this place a needs to be reported to the health board. The rat ran right by to of the waiters they jumped back but played it off like nothing happened this place is f****** disgusting
We ate here on our first night in Honolulu. The variety of food was good-- some american comfort foods, lots of Asian foods, and some Polynesian specialities, like purple deed fried sweet potatoes, and a yummy melon flavored rice gel dessert called Mochi. Years ago, I enjoyed eating here. The food was much better. Nicely fried chicken wings. Tender green string beans. Nice salisbary steaks. Good mashed potatoes and gravy. Buffets are something I usually look forward to, but the food here looks kinda iffy. Maybe it's the whole ambiance and the tarp tent outside, or the fact it's an eatery next to the airport that bothers me the most.
