We ate at the buffet as it was close to our hotel, and normally shoneys are decent but not brilliant. At 1am I didnt know what hit me, if food could come out my ears it would have! 2 days later I still have stomach cramps and need to be near a bathroom, pure and total salmonella poisoning. I recently ate breakfast at Shoney's in Vicksburg, MS (02/11/08). The following outlines the service and the food. Walking into the restaurant, we waited for about 3 minutes before someone hollered across the dining room for us to seat ourselves, even though the sign asked us to wait to be seated.
