It is my understanding that this is a local favorite. I'm glad a lot of people like it, but I was very disappointed. It was kinda like cafeteria food. Soggy grey-green beans for instance. Visiting from out of town. I did some research, and picked this as our first stop, we arrived at lunch time. My fellow travelers told me this was wonderful. We all had fried chicken. My sister declared it the best she has ever had. This is a do not miss place. more

So delicious we ate there two of the three nights we were in town. From the blackened catfish to the cheeseburgers everything was delicious! more

This restaurant was highly recommended. We arrived at 7pm and the restaurant appeared to be half full. We still had to wait 15 minutes for a table that had been available the whole time. We ordered the fried pork chops. The order came with 2 chops. Unfortunately, they were so highly spiced with black pepper that we couldn't eat them.... more
