The view from the second floor window area is fantastic. The food, especially the beer can chicken, is excellent.
Great location, good service, food variable. Vegetable Wellington and talapia are good, flatbreads were a disappointment.
We came here for a tour, not knowing that the historical brewery had reopened. I would recommend just going for beers and food, rather than springing for a tour which did not include free tastings. Meanwhile, the beer is excellent, especially the helles lager. The food was good also, but the beer was the highlight.
This casual place has a beer menu of perhaps 100 selections; about 30 or more on draft. My wife had one of their brewed-on-the-premises drafts and I had a Belgian. Both were very good. we were a group of 5 people and had a commitment for a specific time shortly after this dinner. Service was quick, food was good and... More
We had a table of appetizers and grazed on those and drank 3 bottles of wine. I had the short rib grilled cheese and it was very good. We has a great waitress but I can't remember her name but real nice and very knowledgeable of the menu. The 3rd bottle of wine put me over my usual budget on... More
I tried out Morelein Lager House with a coworker while in Cincinnati over a weekend and attending a Bengals game. Great pre-game food and the onion rings were the best I've ever tasted. Great service. We arrived with plenty of time before the game and had a 40 minute wait which we expected but by the time we were seated... More
My view of this restaurant is 100% based on when I would plan to go there. Before or after a ball game would seem the perfect time to eat, and drink here. The bar scene, on both floors, is busy and exciting. They have a ton of craft beers of their own, but also stock regular brews too. Parking is... More
We have been to this restaurant twice and enjoyed both visits. The view is very good, specially if you sit outside but inside is fine on colder or hot days as the walls are windows. The wait staff was very helpful and prompt. The food is an eclectic mix of standard ball park stuff with some interesting twists. My wife... More
The Moerlein Lager House is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. The food is prepared fresh and the menu is varied with something for everyone. One of my favorites is the Spent Grain Burger. It is a veggie burger made with the grains from the in house brewing process. The service is consistently good and many of their... More
Well-located across from Great American Ballpark, this restaurant offers plentiful seating (with different views and vibes) and its own crafted beers (I loved the Hefeweisen). I imagine it is packed before and after games, but we went on a weeknight and sat at a great corner table looking out to the river and the ballpark. There are plenty of sophisticated pub... More
