Happy with my main fish course but my wife disappointed with her beef Good wine list but ales are kept far too cold temperature whatever management may say. have eaten here several times and been good, but the last two times we have visited it as been poor and over priced for what you get. although the staff are ok they dont go out of there way to be friendly. food was cold and had to be returned to kitchen. would not recommend to friends

Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch. Good price but starters very meagre. The mussels starter contained 6 mussels. The lamb could have been any meat and tasted of gravy only. Five of us ate at the Vine, early Sat evening - ages 15 to 80 and all enjoyed the food. Varied and interesting menu [pigeon, game] that included more ordinary fare too. Service good, surroundings pleasant and cost not too bad. Easy parking and access for elderly who also appreciated the nice staff.
