Good atmosphere, excellent service, great concept. I would recommend this experience for a nice dinner out.
Love on the Rocks combines delicious food and a unique means of preparing and presenting it. The Coconut Curry soup was an excellent teaser for the rest of the meal to come. Be careful about letting your spoon rest in the stone bowl... the lava rock gets heated to 700 degrees. The Rib Eye steak was very tender and flavorful.... More
If you are in Hopkins and you don't have a dinner here, you are missing out. It's right on the beach, the staff is super-friendly and you're ordering fresh local seafood or beef and drinking wine. The THING is, you order your food and it is prepared and brought out to you on a 700-degree lava stone and you manage... More
Nice staff, although not very experienced with their own restaurant concept-extremely fresh ingredients that luckily did not need anything to make them better (as the 3 provided dipping sauces were really not good & pretty much just 3 different colored mayos)
Had someone not told us about this restaurant, which is only a few minutes walk away from Jaguar Reef--where my husband and I were staying--we would have missed out completely. It's an interesting way to eat, cooking your own meat on a hot lava stone at 700-some degrees and makes for a fun experience. We met some new friends there,... More
I got married at Almond Beach resort and decided to have my rehearsal dinner at Love on the Rocks. We had a party of 30 people and even though the restaurant is somewhat small, they were able to accommodate us without a problem. The food was amazing and everyone got a kick out of cooking their own dinners on the... More
Mike and Latissa were very professional and made us feel special. The new chef Gerban was really great to talk with and his soups were AMAZING! Papaya soup? YES!!
This is an awesome concept. You cook your food on a super hot stone right in front of you. It was a great conversation piece and the seafood was out of this world. This is a must try if you visit Hopkins Belize!
They bring out a hot stone and you cook your fish/meat/veggies on it at the table. Interesting way to have dinner and we really enjoyed!
