We were looking forward to this meal given the excellent reviews. The food and service were very good but not outstanding, certainly not worth the journey from our comforatble hotel. The main course took ages to arrive, as did the desserts. As I hadnt had a starter I was starving. The surroundings were a little dated with too many fripperies. More

This was an excellent end to a short rail tour of the Highlands. The place was elegant without being standoffish, staff friendly and attentive, and the food just superb. We were actually staying in Spean Bridge, but it is well worth the drive out from Fort William! More

Probably one the better restaurants in the neighbourhood. Very good quality, nice portions at a good price. More

We've been to Russell's a few times now, and have never been disappointed. This time we decided to treat ourselves and stay overnight too. We were greeted with drinks and home made cake, together with the warmest possible welcome. Dinner was exceptional, the freshest scallops, perfectly cooked, followed by excellent sirloin steak. Lovely, reasonably priced wines accompanied the meal. Breakfast... More
